AALA Student Arm

Do you want to cultivate your strengths as a future Asian-Australian Lawyer? Are you interested in learning more about legal environment in Asia? Are you passionate about overcoming the bamboo ceiling?

The Student Arm of the Asian-Australian Lawyers Association is looking for current law students at all the premier law schools in Australia to become a Convenor representing the Student Arm of the AALA at their respective university.

What does being a Student Arm Convenor involve?

Well your role will be both exciting and challenging as you will:

  • Co-ordinate activities for the benefit of Student Members such as mentoring sessions and round-table discussions;
  • Endeavor to create awareness amongst your student body of the organisation and its Student Arm; and
  • Recruit eligible law students to be come Student Members, seeking sponsorship for your respective university.

Not only will this experience be rewarding, but you will have the opportunity to be apart of a welcoming community of like-minded individuals just like yourself!
