As a results-driven corporate and commercial lawyer, Nathan specialises in delivering comprehensive legal advice on high-impact corporate, commercial and government projects. His expertise spans corporate and commercial law, technology, privacy, and government matters, with a strong focus on providing practical, commercially sound advice, risk management, and contract negotiation.
Nathan is currently a Legal Associate at Meridian Lawyers, practicing in the areas of corporate and commercial law. Before that, he worked as an in-house commercial lawyer at the Victorian Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions and completed a secondment as a privacy and freedom of information officer within the same department. He also has broad experience as a property and generalist lawyer, advising on property conveyances, employment and contracting agreements, wills and estates, and business purchases and sales.
Nathan has a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives within legal teams, including implementing legal chatbots and contract automation tools, significantly enhancing process efficiency. He has advised on complex projects such as the CarbonNet Project, Cremorne Digital Hub, and mRNA Victoria Research Acceleration Fund, showcasing his ability to manage diverse legal matters and projects.
In addition to his legal acumen, Nathan possesses robust financial strategy and management skills, honed through his role as National Treasurer and National Finance Officer at the Asian Australian Lawyers Association, where he managed the association's financial management, budgeting, reporting, and audits.
