VIC Branch Committee Member

NIKKI DOAN

Nikki Doan is a law clerk at Rowson Brasse Commercial Lawyers and currently completing her Bachelor of Laws/Commerce degree at Deakin University.

Nikki is the Chair of the Victorian AALA Social Media & IT sub-committee, as well as sitting on the advocacy, sponsorships & partnerships, and student liaison sub-committees. Prior to this, she served as the Director of Social Justice and Equity on the Deakin Law Students’ Society and engaged students to explore issues including diversity and discrimination in the law, modern slavery, police brutality, and native title land rights.

Nikki has lived in 4 countries across the Asia-Pacific and is proficient in Vietnamese, Hokkien Chinese, and English.

The AALA provides Nikki the opportunity to advocate for the experiences of the culturally and linguistically diverse people within the Australian legal industry and law schools. She looks forward to contributing to this cause and collaborating with other Asian-Australian legal professionals.
